Companies have different needs, different cash flow patterns and income streams. Therefore business conditions can often dictate the most advantageous terms and conditions of the lease.
Rather than deal with depreciation schedules and Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) problems, the lessee simply makes the lease payments and is able to deduct the payment as a business expense in the case of a Fair Market Value lease.
